plus CHLOÉ MARIE
WHAT TO EXPECT
COUCHES returns to TOULOUSE THEATER for our last show of the year and before a (much-needed!) 2-month hiatus!
We end the year featuring singer/songwriter Maggie Koerner - one of the most distinctly powerful and memorable voices in the city of New Orleans. Maggie's credits include a who's who of New Orleans major artists including Tank & The Bangas, The Revivalists, Galactic, Big Freedia, Pell, and she's been a staple at Jazzfest and headliner at Tipitina's for years. Earlier this year, she sold out back-to-back Saturday night shows at Marigny Opera House during the week of Jazzfest featuring songs from her latest record, The Bartholomew Songs.
Ok. By now some of you stopped reading at Maggie Koerner and instantly bought tickets! But for others, this show will be an introduction to a truly incredible new artist you've yet to hear. If you're checking her out for the first time we humbly suggest this solo live performance from September of her unreleased song, "Sarah's Farm" or this full band performance of "If I Die" from one of her sold-out Marigny Opera House shows.
Chloé Marie is a folk/blues powerhouse vocalist from Baton Rouge currently residing in New Orleans. Listen to her brand new EP, CLOSE ENOUGH, recorded and mixed locally at Material Institute and released on 11/24/2023.
